How to check your PERM status, step by step

  1. Find your filing date and case number. Your employer or attorney received a confirmation when the ETA Form 9089 was filed; the case number looks like G-100-XXXXX-XXXXXX. The filing date is what determines your place in line.

  3. Compare your filing date to the frontier. Cases are processed roughly in filing-month order (how DOL ordering works), so the gap between your month and the frontier is your queue position.

Who can see the official status
